Answers about the Wine Festival of Central Florida

When and where is the event?

The 2018 Wine Festival of Central Florida takes place March 9, 2018, from 6:30 to 10:00pm on the Frances Langford Promenade in Downtown Lakeland, Florida.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

We recommend “casual chic” attire. Dress to impress, but casual enough to be comfortable.

Is there an age limit?

The Wine Festival of Central Florida is 21+ only. A valid ID is needed to enter. If we cannot verify your age, you will not be allowed into the event. Anyone under the age of 21 will be stopped at the gate, refused entry and passes will not be refunded. We ask that you please DO NOT bring infants or small children in carriers or strollers as they will not be permitted entry.

Can I bring my children to the event?

All attendees must be 21 years of age. Please remember to bring your ID. Anyone under the age of 21 will be stopped at the entrance, refused entry and passes will not be refunded. Please do not bring infants or small children in child carriers or strollers as they will not be permitted entry. The festival urges all adults to consume alcoholic products responsibly.

Can pets attend the event?

For the safety of our patrons, pets are not permitted to enter the festival.

Can I bring in a backpack?

We would suggest traveling as light as possible. All backpacks and large purses will be searched by security prior to entering the venue. We will have ample food, drink, water, etc.

Can I bring my own food and drink into the festival?

No. Unfortunately, outside food or drink are not permitted into the event. We will have all the food and drink you could possibly consume, even bottled water, all of which is included in the price of your ticket.

How much are tickets?

Tickets are $65.00 in advance and $75.00 at the event.

What is included in the price of the ticket?

Tickets are one ALL-INCLUSIVE price. Even the bottled water is included. No need to pull out your wallet once inside.

Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available through this website by CLICKING HERE, or also by calling the Alliance for Independence at (863) 665-3846. A limited number of tickets will also be available the evening of the event, but will cost an additional $10.00.
What if I can no longer attend the event?

We apologize for any inconvenience, but just like a concert or sporting event, there are no refunds.

What if there is inclement weather?

We will do our best to run the event as planned. The event will be held, rain or shine, just like a sporting event. 

What is the Wall of Wine Drawing?

Thanks to our generous festival vendors we are able to offer an opportunity to Win the Wines of the Wine Festival of Central Florida. Only 1,000 tickets will be offered!  An individual $20 entry offers you the opportunity to walk away with an incredible collection of wines with selections donated by all of our festival wine vendors. Drawing will be held at the event on March 9, 2018. Tickets and drawing rules may be obtained by contacting the Alliance for Independence at (863) 665-3846 ext. 222. How can I volunteer?

Thank you – we’d love to have you as a volunteer! Event volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of activities including setup, check in, will call, ticket sales, line monitor, VIP hosts, directional support, chef demonstrations, restaurant/winery/brewery liaisons, etc. To sign up as a volunteer, click here.
